The GJA waterproof fiber optic cable has a single-core design. It uses a 900μm tight-buffered fiber with aramid yarn for strength. A fiberglass (FRP) rod runs through the center for reinforcement. The fiber units are twisted around this core, wrapped in an aluminum-polyethylene layer, and finally sheathed in polyethylene for protection.
