With the social and business development, in order to meet the requirements of high-density interconnect wiring in high-speed and large-capacity data centers, the traditional single-core SC fiber optic connectors and dual-core LC fiber optic connectors are gradually replaced by high-density multi-core fiber optic connectors.

The MPO series products are used in LANs, WANs, FTTx, Fiber to Home. It is also applied to the dense wiring system of optical signal link in the computer room of a commercial building under the high-density environment of the data center.

There are many advantages to applying MPO / MTP optical cables in data centers. It can protect the effectiveness and security of investment. Although the application of MPO / MTP optical cables gives higher requirements to the integrator's preliminary and actual site investigation capabilities, it can also fully protect The investor's right to control the project and the right to know the product, avoid the risks of material waste and project investment, and it also is economically applicable. Totally, the MPO / MTP pre-connection method does not add additional costs. In addition, the operation is simple and easy to install, save the installation time, plug-and-play.

MPO / MTP Fiber Optic Patch Cable consists of multi core fiber optic cable and corresponding 4/8/12/24 core high density MPO/MTP connector. The connector might be female or male with guide pin. The cable from 4 ~ 144 core, single mode or multimode, the single mode  fiber including  G652D / G657A1 / G657A2, the multimode fiber including 62.5/125,10G OM2 / OM3 / OM4, or bending insensitive 10G multimode cable.

The MPO module Cassettes are mainly used to divide the 12 or 24 fibers MPO connector of the pre-assembled terminal end to the simplex or duplex standard connector. By using the simplex or duplex patch cords, the output of the modules can be directly connected with the equipment, frame or the client end.

In this time, data centers and large-scale computer rooms such as enterprise networks require MPO high-density fiber distribution frames. MPO fiber distribution boxes / fiber distribution frames provide many functions for our data center equipment room. It can install and preconnect the transfer module or MPO adapter. Its features are as follows:

   1.Installed in a 19-inch rack and cabinet for centralized management of module boxes;
 

   2. Increase the amount of ports through modular design, provide fiber-optic high-density connective;
 

   3. The MPO 1U fiber optic patch panel can be installed with 4 MPO pre-terminated boxes. The maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the duplex box with the adapter installed in the termination box is 96 cores, and the maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the simplex SC adapter installed in the termination box is 48 cores. If the MPO adapter board is installed, the maximum number of fiber cores that can be managed can up to 288 cores;

   4. MPO 2U fiber optic patch panel can be installed 8 MPO pre-terminated box. The maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the duplex box with the adapter installed in the termination box is 192 cores, and the maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the simplex SC adapter installed in the termination box is 96 cores. If the MPO adapter board is installed, the maximum number of fiber cores that can be managed can up to 576 cores;

   5. MPO 3U fiber optic patch panel can be installed 12 MPO pre-terminated box. The maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the duplex box with the adapter installed in the termination box is 288 cores, and the maximum number of optical fiber cores that can be managed by the simplex SC adapter installed in the termination box is 144 cores. If the MPO adapter board is installed, the maximum number of fiber cores that can be managed can up to 864 cores;

   6. It is more than four times the density of the traditional fusion fiber distribution frame, greatly save the  cabinet space, improve the utilization rate of the cabinet, and create value for the construction of the data center;

   7. Adopt modular structure, easy to upgrade and maintain system.
