Figure 8 Cable

This fiber optic cable has a figure-8 shape. It contains a loose tube (filled with waterproof gel) holding 250μm fibers, wrapped around a central metal core. The whole core is covered with a plastic-coated aluminum tape, and the steel wire strands are combined into the 8-shaped outer sheath.

Outdoor 8-Shape Fiber Optic Cable‌
